WhatTheFlip ("we", "our", "the App") is a reverse-audio trivia game. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

• Device identifier: a randomly generated device_id used to associate your scores and sessions with your installation. It is not linked to your name or contact details.
• Gameplay data: scores, answered rounds and session results, used to maintain the leaderboard and improve the game.
• Technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and diagnostics, retained for a limited time.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or microphone audio from gameplay.

3. Audio Content

All audio phrases are AI-generated speech, created and stored on our servers. The App does not record your voice or upload audio from your device.

4. How We Use Information

• To run the game and keep your score.
• To build and display the leaderboard.
• To detect abuse, cheating and technical issues.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party AI speech providers to generate content. These providers process only the text we send them; they do not receive your personal data.

6. Data Retention & Your Rights

We keep gameplay data only as long as needed to provide the service. You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us at privacy@whattheflip.app.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
